Foreign Languages
The growing importance of internationality in the worlds of academia and work has long been reflected in the courses of study taught in Bremen and Bremerhaven. To accompany the increasing number of international degree courses , the various institutions of higher education in the State of Bremen have developed their own Center of Foreign Languages (Fremdsprachenzentrum), a unique concept for promoting intercultural language skills.
Unique in Germany for its close collaboration with three important European culture institutes located in Bremen, the Fremdsprachenzentrum offers a wide range of different languages spoken around the world, supported by courses ending in internationally recognised certificates, opportunities for self-learning and well-equipped language laboratories at the different universities and colleges.
